Also included in this listing is Australian singer-songwriter Betty Who’s single “Human Touch” from her international hit album The Valley. “Human Touch” contributes to a quarter of this collection’s earnings in the last 12 months and earnings are on the rise over previous quarters. Betty Who’s album The Valley appeared in the top 50 for Top Album Sales in 2017.

Key Drivers

International. The majority of this catalog’s earnings come from abroad — at 65% of historical earnings. Although international royalty distribution can lag behind domestic payments and arrive with limited detail, as the winner of this auction you’ll be entitled to any past performance royalties paid by BMI, regardless of when they were earned.

TV/Film Placements. This catalog benefits from placements in TV/Film, contributing to over 15% of this catalog's historic earnings. That being said, a majority of the TV/Film royalties for this collection derive from overseas programming, reporting to BMI with limited detail. Regardless, as the winner of this auction, you'll collect the performance royalties for any of the songs' use in U.S. and international TV/Film.

Pop/Streaming. According to the BuzzAngle 2017 Music Report, pop titles were the third-most streamed songs last year, representing 15.6% of all streams. Streaming accounts for 11% of this pop catalog's earnings last year — and its income is on the rise — nearly a 200% increase over the previous four quarters.
