HOW DOES THIS ASSET MAKE MONEY?
VideoFort has licensed the catalog to several major online distributors of stock video footage on a non-exclusive basis. Current distributors include Adobe, Shutterstock, Pond5, Getty, and Dissolve. The distributors collect direct license fees and/or subscription revenue for use of the videos and pay VideoFort accordingly. You'll earn royalties every time one of the videos in the catalog is licensed for use by any of the current distributors or any distributor added in the future.
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING POST-AUCTION PROCESS
This winner of this auction will collect the royalties directly from VideoFort on a quarterly basis. Please see the Post-Auction Process tab for further information.
BUYBACK OPTION
VideoFort (or any entity that purchases VideoFort or the catalog) has the right to repurchase this 20% share from the winner of this auction at any time for a price of $170,250.
NOTE ABOUT STATEMENT DATA
The seller does not receive detailed royalty data from the distributor. Earnings presented in the listing are the total quarterly payments received by the seller for the seller's interest in the asset. The buyer will not receive detailed royalty statements.
