This auction is for 50% of the songwriter's share of public performance royalties of the catalog. The songwriter is retaining a 50% share. This means that they still hold a vested interest in the catalog and will continue to have their publisher look for placements. Many of these works are managed by Jingle Punks, a boutique publishing company that places and licenses music for TV, film, video games, and advertisements. You and the songwriter will earn royalties whenever these songs get placed in any of these formats.
What is being sold?
50% of the seller's interest in the songwriter's share of public performance royalties attributable to the seller's catalog of musical works administered by BMI. See the “Financials” tab for a full track list.
