Description

Invest in 50% of songwriter royalties from a diverse catalog of music that ranges from R&B to J-pop. These 365 songs collect royalties in over 50 countries across a variety of artists and genres. In the last 12 months, 50% of their royalties generated $2,963.

The Canadian hit “Like Magic” by R&B recording artist JRDN generates 31% of the income to date. JRDN launched his career competing in Canadian Idol. “Like Magic” is the second single from his 2010 debut album IAMJRDN. The song reached No. 24 on the Canadian Hot 100, and the music video topped the MuchMusic Countdown, earning it the No. 1 Song Award from Canadian performance rights organization SOCAN.

A quarter of the income comes from Japan due to several J-Pop and K-pop songs. “Replay” by the South Korean R&B/pop group SHINee, is the second highest earner in this catalog. The song was a success in Korea, with Japanese version released in 2011 (certified Gold). Today, the Youtube video boasts over 7.8 million views.

A more recent addition to this catalog is American R&B singer Charlie Wilson's “My Favorite Part of You.” The song was released in 2015 and received a Grammy nomination the following year. With a career spanning over a decade, Wilson shows no sign of slowing down. He continues to release new music, his latest album came out in February of this year, and he is active on the tour circuit with several dates planned through the summer.
